- Western notes are starting from A and ends with G.
It has natural, sharp and flat notes. - There are seven natural notes, five sharp notes and five flat notes.
- Natural notes are nothing but the white keys of the keyboard.
- The Black keys are called as Sharp (#) or Flat (b) notes.
- The notes A, B, C, D, E, F, G are called as natural notes.
- Sharp notes denoted by '#' symbol.
- Flat notes denoted by 'b' symbol.
- Sharp means 1/2 note higher to a natural note.
- Flat means 1/2 note lower to a natural note.
- B and E don't have Sharp notes. So we call them as non-sharp notes.
- C and F don't have Flat notes. So we call them as non-flat notes.
- We can call 'C' as B# and 'F' as E#.
